To view accommodation listings, please See our Off-Campus Housing page.
Listings are posted daily on the internet, so it's a good idea to visit the site frequently.

There are external resources found on our website also that will provide you with many other off-campus housing options available in our communities.
Be sure to start your search for accommodation shortly after receiving your acceptance from the college. This will give you plenty of time to research all of your housing options in order to find the most suitable place for you to live.
Securing accommodation can take anywhere from 1 - 2 days so be sure to plan your travels accordingly. Landlords schedules vary, so it's extremely important to set up all of your appointments ahead of time. Don't wait until you arrive at the college to begin your search as you may be disappointed with the lack of leads to follow up on.
- What types of accommodation can I find through your off-campus housing service and what are the average prices?
- We offer a variety of accommodations through our listing service to suit both your personal and financial needs.
- Do you have maps of Peterborough and Lindsay?
- Yes, we have maps in the Housing Office or here.
- Is there bus service in Lindsay?
As we are a small town, we cannot provide the same type of service that a city does. The buses run from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. only.
Lindsay Transit schedules can be viewed online at Lindsay Transit.
Car pools are usually formed as students get to know one another.
Can-Ar Coach is the bus line that services the town of Lindsay. Please visit Can-ar Coach for scheduled buses.
The service varies depending upon where you are travelling.
The Lindsay Inn (354 Lindsay St. S.) is where you catch the bus. Another option is the Ride Board located in the lower hallway across from the cafeteria.
- Is there bus service in Peterborough?
Peterborough's transit system allows students to live almost anywhere in the city providing easy access to the College.
There is an SSFC/Kawartha Direct route and Lansdowne West standard route available. Both routes run every half hour and pick students up right at the front doors of the campus.
Peterborough Transit schedules can be viewed online at Peterborough Transit.
Car pools can be arranged by filling out a "ride wanted" or "ride available" card available at the front Information Desk. These cards get posted outside of the Information office for students to see.
- Are all residential premises covered under the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA)?
- No. If you share bathroom or kitchen facilities with the owner and/or members of the owner's immediate family, your living accommodations are not covered under the Residential Tenancies Act. In this type of accommodation, you are under the "house rules" of the landlord, which should be agreed upon by you and the landlord prior to entering into the tenancy. For answers to these and other legal concerns, contact the Landlord and Tenant Board at 1-888-332-3234 for further information. (Make sure you press "0" to get a live person). You can also view or print out a copy of the Act by visiting Ontario Residential Tenancies Act page.
- I have some safety issues regarding my accommodation, what should I do?
