Founded in 1970, Athabasca University offers hundreds of credit courses, degrees and other university credentials. Fleming College pioneered the development of university transfer arrangements with Athabasca University for virtually all of its programs. Your Fleming diploma is recognized for credits toward an Athabasca degree in a related field. Plus you can benefit from the flexibility of being able to fit your studies around your schedule. Athabasca University courses are ideally suited for people who are working part-time or full time.

Bachelor of Commerce – General, Accounting or E-Commerce (Four-year, 120 Credits)
Graduates of the following three-year Business diplomas may receive up to 75 credits towards completion of a four-year General degree in less than two years. Graduates can also apply to the Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting or E-Commerce and may receive up to 66 credits towards completion of this degree in less than two years.

Graduates of the following two-year Business diplomas may receive up to 45 credits towards completion of a General degree or a degree with a major in Accounting or E-Commerce in less than three years. Additional courses may be required, depending on elective courses taken in the diploma program.

Bachelor of General Studies – Applied Studies (Three-year, 90 credits)
- Business Administration – Accounting graduates can receive up to 60 credits towards completion of this diploma in approximately one year.
- Business Administration – Marketing graduates can receive a minimum of 21 credits towards completion of this diploma in less than three years. Additional credits may be required, depending on elective courses taken in diploma program.
Bachelor of Health Administration (Three-year, 90 credits)
Graduates of the following diplomas will receive up to 42 credits towards completion of this degree program in less than two years.
- Drug and Alcohol Counsellor
- Nursing – three-year diploma
Bachelor of Management (Three-year, 90 credits – Four-year, 120 credits)
Graduates of the following three-year Business diplomas may receive up to 66 credits towards completion of a three-year Bachelor of Management (General) degree in approximately one year. Graduates can also apply to the four-year Bachelor of Management and may receive up to 75 credits towards completion of this degree in just over two years, or apply with a major in Marketing or Human Resource Management and receive up to 66 credits towards completion of this degree in less than three years.

Bachelor of Nursing (Four-year, 120 Credits)
- Graduates of Fleming's three-year Nursing diploma program may receive between 75-82 credits towards completion of this degree in less than two years.
Bachelor of Professional Arts in Criminal Justice (Four-year, 120 credits)
Graduates of the following Law and Justice diploma programs may receive up to 60 credits towards completion of this four-year degree in approximately two years:
- Correctional Worker

- Ecosystem Management Technician/Technology – Technician graduates may receive up to 30 credits towards completion of this degree in approximately three years. Technology graduates may receive up to 60 credits towards completion of this degree in approximately two years.
- Fish and Wildlife Technician/Technology – Technician graduates may receive up to 30 credits towards completion of this degree in approximately three years. Technology graduates may receive up to 60 credits towards completion of this degree in approximately two years.
- Environmental Technician/Technology (formerly Terrain and Water Resources) – Technician grads may receive up to 30 credits toward completion of this degree in approximately three years. Technology grads may receive up to 60 credits towards completion of this degree in approximately two years.
- Earth Resources Technician (formerly Geological Technician) – Grads may receive up to 30 credits toward completion of this degree in approximately three years.
