Please note: This course is not suitable for beginners. Experience in painting and design is required. Previous abstraction education and experience is beneficial.

This course is suitable if you are an experienced painter and wish to learn the basic principles of pure abstraction (not conceptual art). Boldness and experimentation will be encouraged as you explore the infinite possibilities of abstraction. Boldness and experimentation will be encouraged, emphasizing shapes and colours on both paper and canvas. Be prepared for an exciting journey as you advance your skills. Instruction and exercises will deal with pure abstraction.
