Open Studio in Watermedia

May 04, 2009

Course Number: ARTS0660

Section Number: 41

Instructor: Brian Atyeo ·

We're very pleased to be able to offer this personal/professional development opportunity. The studio will be available for your use from 8:30am to 8:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 4:30pm on Friday. This opportunity is not a credit course. There will be no evaluative process and a credit will not be issued upon completion.
Please note: This experience is not suitable for beginners.
This is an excellent opportunity to challenge yourself and progress beyond your current use and understanding of watermedia. An extensive exploration of acrylic paint as watermedia will be the central theme and the use of other water-based mediums is also encouraged. Personal content and expression in water-media is the ultimate goal and you will find the extended days and challenging pace a rewarding experience. Instructor demonstrations are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday mornings, with the remainder of the time committed to personal painting time and group critiques. This is an open studio/independent study format offering. The instructor will be available for demonstrations, consultation and critiques and will be present in the studio.
