This course will examine how we experience power in our modern world and the role it plays in the resolution of conflict. We will discuss ideas of control, influence and seduction. We will examine how power resides in things like money, personality, strength, sexuality and information. We will examine current power dynamics in Canada and the world at large and see if we can create our own theory of power.
