Friends Foundation of Sir Sandford Fleming College Bursary: $450 and $700

The Fleming College Foundation is offering bursaries of up to $450 for the one-week courses and up to $700 for Arts Certificate Programs. These bursaries exist through funds raised at the Annual Art Auction and are available to students taking any credit course within this brochure.

The selection process used to determine bursary recipients will be based on two criteria: financial need that would restrict attending the Haliburton School of The Arts and the long term goal for use of the skills/knowledge acquired while taking a course.

Submission deadlines: Completed applications are due at the Haliburton campus on February 16, April 15, June 15, August 16, and October 15th of 2010. Applicants will be notified within two weeks of review.

We gratefully acknowledge numerous donors as well as the faculty, staff and friends of the Haliburton School of The Arts for their generosity in providing the works of art and organizational time for the Art Auction. Also included in this year’s funds are monies raised from an auction of Brian Atyeo demonstration pieces. We extend our gratitude to Brian and his students.
