Bursaries and Scholarships
Fleming College and the Fleming College Foundation, along with our generous donors and sponsors, have provided more than $6 million to students in financial need.
Assistance Available Through the Financial Aid Office
A percentage of tuition fees collected by Fleming College is allocated towards an entrance bursary program for new, full-time students and for returning full-time students. To be considered for this bursary, complete and submit the Financial Aid Profile mailed with your program offer or download the Financial Aid Profile located below. Be sure to apply! In recent years, 80% of students who applied were eligible and received this bursary! Deadlines and other important dates can be found in the Financial Aid Profile for New Students.
The Financial Aid Office can also provide information on loans, including the Fleming Emergency Loan Fund.
Fleming College Foundation Scholarships and Bursaries
The mission of Fleming College Foundation is to contribute to the success and development of Fleming College by providing financial assistance to students and support for college capital needs.
We are fortunate to have many generous donors who support our bursaries and scholarship program through endowed bursaries or scholarships in their name or in the name of a family member to recognize the special relationship they have with the College. These bursaries and scholarships are available to a variety of students in a number of programs. Please see criteria for each award below.
The selection process for all Foundation bursaries and scholarships is undertaken by the Foundation Awards Selection Committee and other individuals as specified by the individual award’s terms and conditions.
DEADLINE FOR ALL FLEMING COLLEGE FOUNDATION APPLICATIONS IS October 3, 2008 unless otherwise noted.
Students beginning their studies in January may apply for any Foundation bursaries available for new students by the October 3 deadline. If successful, the bursary funds will not be disbursed until studies have commenced. Students beginning their studies in May are also eligible for any bursaries available for new students in the Fall unless otherwise noted.
