Institute for Healthy Aging and Nursing Awards

The following academic and community awards for full-time students recognize achievement. Recipients are selected for these awards -- students do not apply for these prizes.

 

  • Alzheimer Society Of Peterborough And Area Award

    Presented to an outstanding graduate of the Practical Nursing Program.

 

  • Carolyn Brandt Memorial Award

    Presented to the outstanding graduate of the Nursing Program who demonstrates personal growth and professional development, use of therapeutic touch, and is a genuine and caring person.

 

  • Carole Courneyea Memorial Award

    Presented to a third year graduating nursing student who is a caring and giving person; dedicated to serving the community through volunteerism; shows good clinical judgment and displays motivation and a keen spirit.

 

  • Dr. G. Stewart Cameron Award

    Presented to a graduate of the Nursing Program who has consistently demonstrated a compassionate and concerned approach to patients and patient care.

 

  • IODE 57th Regiment/Helen Hall Award

    Presented to the best all round first year nursing student.

 

  • Lippincott Williams And Wilkins Book Award (Nursing)

    Presented to a graduate of the Nursing Program who is an enthusiastic, actively engaged learner who develops positive relationships with colleagues and clients.

 

  • Major Bennett Margaret Hall Award

    Presented to a second year nursing student who has demonstrated a holistic and compassionate approach in his/her care to patients.

 

  • Nichols, Civic Nurses Alumnae Award

    Presented to a second year student in the Nursing Program showing outstanding patient care. Peterborough Hospitals Medical Staff Award

 

  • Peterborough Hospitals Medical Staff Award

    Presented to an outstanding graduate of the Nursing Program.

 

  • RPNAO Award

    Presented to a student in the Practical Nursing Program who has demonstrated student excellence.

 

  • Sisters Of St. Joseph's Nursing Excellence Award

    Presented to a graduate of the Nursing Program for excellence in Nursing.

 

  • Institute for Healthy Aging and Nursing Outstanding Achievement Award

    Presented to a graduate for academic achievement and significant contribution to the College Community.
